The agriculture industry is the backbone of Southwest Virginia.  It is the largest private industry in the Commonwealth, providing over $70 billion in annual economic impact and over 334,000 jobs. Yet, regulations and government red tape in Richmond are making farming more difficult and less profitable.  We must do more to ease the burdens on the agriculture industry to allow our rural Virginians to make a reasonable living. Jason will advocate for more agricultural education, new technology, and common-sense ways to keep our farmers feeding our families.
