COVID-19 was devastating to our community, not only in terms of our health, but also from the severe economic impact from misguided executive action on the state and federal level that hurt small businesses like Jason’s. This has led to the closure of area small businesses, the struggle of those that survived to find workers, and the impact on our children’s education as they were forced to adapt to a virtual learning environment. In the General Assembly, Jason will focus on a COVID recovery plan that balances community health and keeping our families safe with a robust recovery that gets our community back to work, provides small businesses with support, and puts our children back in the classroom.
